How it works.
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid sequence derived from a peptide found in human gastric juice*. Preclinical research focuses on its role in angiogenesis* via VEGF pathways and tendon-to-bone healing, with animal models showing accelerated repair of ligament, muscle, and GI tissue.

Unlike systemic compounds, BPC-157 is typically associated in the literature with local activity at the injection site — which is why researchers pair it with subcutaneous injection close to the area of interest.
